She was spotted touring the Gallatin building of NYU, accompanied by school administration. However, Emma has not stated anywhere that she is transferring. So I’d keep this as a rumor until there is confirmation from Emma herself.

One of Emma’s favorite authors is Carlos Ruis Zafon. She loved Shadow of the Wind and its prequel, The Game of the Angel. Another of her favorite books is The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro.

When she was younger, Emma read Naughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman and the His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman.

Her favorite Harry Potter book is Prisoner of Azkaban.

Emma is known for living a very low-key personal life. She still takes public transportation and there are candids of her out and about by herself. When she was little, obviously her, Dan, and Rupert had one when doing publicity and such with Harry Potter, but now that she’s older she doesn’t have usually one.

However, since Emma is finished with HP, I assume there will be a new one. But I’m sure they are still forwarding her mail so it’s still worth a shot. Be sure to send along a self-addressed envelope and expect to wait awhile. It’s unlikely that you’ll get a personal response considering the massive amount of fan mail she receives, but you never know! 

Also it’s important to remember that Emma deserves privacy and respect just like anyone else, so keep that in mind when you write her!

Actually I’ve never been asked that. So you win! haha.

I’m not much of a shipper, so I don’t really have an OTP. When I read fanfic, I like Dramione. The whole bad boy/good girl story appeals to me, what can I say :p

As far as the books go, I ship Hermione and Ron obviously. But I actually think I’m a bigger fan of Harry and Hermione’s *friendship* then I am of Hermione and Ron’s relationship. I love the bond Harry and Hermione have, and I find the dynamics of their friendship much more interesting than the romance of Hermione/Ron.
