About Emma Watson
Biography
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris, France on April 15, 1990. She lived in France until age 5, and then moved to Oxford, England where she lived with her family. Emma had had no professional acting experience when, at the age of nine, she was chosen for the role of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films. During the summer of 2007, she filmed BBC’s Ballet Shoes and voiced the role of Princess Pea in The Tale of Desperaux. In 2009, she became the face of Burberry’s 2009/’10 campaigns. She is also a creative consultant for the ethical fairtrade fashion company, People Tree, where she worked to produce a spring range, released in February 2010. Emma also appeared in British band One Night Only’s music video for their single “Say You Don’t Want It.” She finished filming the 7th installment of the Harry Potter franchise in June 2010, and as of Fall 2010 is back at Brown University for her sophomore year.
