emma and her boyfriend are so cute together! i was looking at the coachella pics from a few months ago and she looked like she was having such a good time with him! that makes me happy :’)

Stephen Chbosky, author of Perks, said the movie project would never have happened without Emma’s influence.
Although Ms. Watson, now 21, was dead set against more high school roles, her agent pressed the script on her, and the actress fell in love with it. “Once she and I met, we both knew in each other we had a kindred spirit,” Mr. Chbosky says.
In January, she made the rounds at LA studios to plead the case for “Perks.” Summit Entertainment, the studio behind “Twilight,” said yes. “We wouldn’t be making the movie without her passion for it,” the director-writer says.
As for the fans who turn up on the sidelines to see Ms. Watson, Mr. Chbosky reports, “The crowds have been very respectful of our process and her time. Those people who have come out to watch filming — and there have been quite a few of them — I think they just want to witness what’s happening. There’s never been a moment in the middle of a take where someone goes, ‘Emma!’ Doesn’t happen.”

Emma was interviewed for an article in the LA Times about young actors and the decision they must make about continuing their education. For most people, a college education is a path to better paying jobs and a secure future. Emma’s financial security is pretty much set, but Emma chose to continue with her education and career at the same time. It’s not been easy.
“I’ve had to say no to stuff that people have been gobsmacked about. I’ve had big directors say to me, ‘What do you mean, you can’t do this movie? We don’t understand,’” the actress, now 21, said recently by phone from her native England. “I always hear, ‘What do you mean she can’t do this magazine cover?’ or ‘What do you mean she can’t have this meeting for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity?’ And my agent will say, ‘She’s at school, sorry.’
“Yes, it’s hard for me to turn down amazing opportunities. But I’ve been working solidly since I’ve been 9 years old. So for me, to have this space to learn and figure myself out a bit is obviously worth it.”
In March, Emma announced on her site that she would be taking a break from University. In this latest interview, she explained her decision a little more.
“On the last movie, I flew around on this crazy press tour, and then came back and tried to do my finals,” she recalled. “I wasn’t sleeping. And I realized, ‘Oh, my God, I can’t do this again.’ I wasn’t going to be able to get the best out of being at Brown and do justice to saying goodbye to ‘Harry Potter’ properly.”
In several recent interviews Emma has said she will return to her studies in the fall.
